Launched by AfroCentric in 2020, Virtual Care was designed to enhance access to primary healthcare in a more convenient and coordinated way. It also enables collaboration between multidisciplinary teams.

With over 90% of South Africans owning smartphones, virtual healthcare becomes a powerful tool to reach previously underserved communities and address challenges in healthcare delivery. One such challenge is the stigma around mental health. By integrating virtual consultations and structured telephonic support, we’re able to offer faster, more accessible and affordable care – reducing stigma and improving outcomes for patients.
